Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on the 10th of March of 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker also a former worker at a factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her brothers and sisters. Stone, who was gifted in the classroom as a young child, began in second grade at five. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). She also competed winning at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone, along with her aunt in 1977, moved into New Jersey for a modeling job. Stone signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week later. Then, she relocated to Europe and spent the entire year living in Milan as well as Paris. Stone was however dissatisfied in Europe by the fashion industry and opted to go to acting. In her 20s, she starred in the film of Woody Allen "Stardust Memories," which received mixed reviews.
