
COLUMBIA, S.C. Columbia Police Department officers were constantly searching for Sims who was missing since Christmas, and arrested Taylor Wardlaw in connection with his death. Eddie Brown, 30, was identified as an accomplice to the death as a result of that death by Columbia Police Department, officials declare. Sims 26, a 26-year-old male, last saw in Columbia in the early morning of Dec. 20 at Ervin Street. According to policereports, his girlfriend Wardlaw was notified that Sims had disappeared December. 22. The body was found near a creek off Monticello Road Wednesday, and the Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford, confirmed that the body was owned by Sims. Skip Holbrook, Chief of Columbia Police says Wardlaw has been arrested for murder, as well as possessing a firearm in the commission of a violent crime.
