Stevie WonderStevland Haraway Morris (ne Judkins) was born on the 13th of May 1950. He is known as Stevie Wonder and is considered a pioneering musician and an influencer on musicians from many genres including rhythm and blues, jazz, gospel, soul to jazz. A virtual one-man group, Wonder's use and use of synthesizers, as well as other electronic musical instruments during the 1970s reshaped the conventions of R&B. He also helped push these genres into the album age by crafting his albums to be unison and consistent, as well as socially conscious statements with complex compositions. Wonder was born blind shortly after his birth, signed with Motown's Tamla label when he was 11 years old. There he was given the title of professional Little Stevie Wonder. Wonder's popularity on the charts reached its peak in the 1970s. His "classic period" began in 1972 with the release of Music of My Mind and Talking Book, the latter with "Superstition" that is among the most unique and famous recordings of the sound of the Hohner Clavinet keyboard. The Grammy Award for Album of the Years was awarded to Innervisions (1973) The Fulfillingness's First Finale (1974) and Fulfillingness's First Finale (1974), as well as Songs in the Key of Life (1976). He is tied for the third most albums with three Album of the YEAR wins. The only artist to win the award in three consecutive albums. Wonder's "commercial period" began in the late 1980s. He was a star with his biggest songs and most famed and increased album sales. He also had charity participation, and high-profile collaborations.
